I just booked for 1 night. I checked in very late and left very early, but the man that was that night (25 August 2026) I think his name is Zhang (I was told by someone else his name so likely is misspelled, sorry) was so nice and accommodating. Since I had a tour booked very early in the morning he even prepared breakfast to go for me. When I came back Mia helped me to bring my multiple suitcases to the taxi. I am so happy with the staff at this place. Really nice people.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, so much so we returned for a second time. The property is well located, safe, comfortable and impeccably clean, the staff were excellent, very helpful, hospitable and kind. The breakfast was included and the setting was lovely, wide selection of tasty offerings, we especially enjoyed the Pho. We booked treatments at the on site spa and were very pleased with our fabulous massages, facials, and the on site Onsen. Highly recommend!
The hotel is located in the old town next to all the attractions. The location is great, the hotel is very nice and clean. The breakfast is amazing and the rooftop bar is spectacular. The stuff is very friendly and helpful, Lan speaks good English and always ready to help, she scheduled a 3 days trip for us from A to Z, thank you Lan. I am highly recommend the hotel, the room is clean and comfortable, they are not big but give you everything you need. Shower are great.

Meritel Hanoi is a beautiful hotel, with top notch service. However, the air conditioning kept going out in our room though the staff was quick to get it up and running again every time it went out. We also experienced ants in our sink, but again the staff was very prompt in getting it fixed. The Meritel advertises that it has soundproofed rooms, but this is not the case. I stayed here for three nights, and everything was excellent from start to finish. The location is perfect—within walking distance of all the must-see attractions. Breakfast was included with the room, and it was always fresh and delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

My wife and I were overwhelmed by many aspects of our stay - the warm and helpful staff, the condition of our junior suite, the food at the restaurant (breakfast buffet and prix fix lunch) and the overall ambiance.
