The location, service and friendliness of the staff was excellent. However the location also means a lot of noise on the weekends as Hanoi parties around the same location and lots of noise when the platforms are dismantled Sunday night into early Monday mornings. Would recommend ear plugs be kept in all front facing rooms and guests be told about it so they can switch rooms to a back facing one especially if you have early morning Monday flights.
Overall an excellent hotel
Had a great stay at the Light Hotel starting from the friendly staff that took our luggage up to our room and a tour guide that helped us book tickets to get to Halong Bay the following day. The hotel is brand new so everything is sparkly and the attention to detail was top notch. Our favorite part was sharing a bottle of wine on the rooftop deck with a great view of the city.
Amazing staff everyone is so helpful and went above and beyond especially Fiona. It was close to many attractions. The spa was also pretty great. Breakfast was pretty tasty and that coffee… you won’t regret it!
This hotel is situated within walking distance to many interesting tourist and local spots. The staff here are extremely kind and helpful. Room cleanups are just excellent. Upon my last day of checkout, the staff knew I didn't have breakfast so they surprisingly prepared a small breakfast box that I could take with me to the airport and also a small gift of Vietnamese coffee! I would stay here again.
Stayed at this location to be close to the lake but still be in Old Quarter. This location is excellent, close to everything but not the crazy Beer Street vibe. Perfect location for someone who wants to be close to all the action but not in the middle of all the crazies, lol. They also have a massage place and it was heavenly!!

The entire staff is EXTREMELY friendly & helpful. I forgot my AirPods are the hotel & Hannah/Alice from the reception went out of the way to get it delivered to me at the airport on my way back after two days.

We loved our stay at this hotel. After having to cancel another hotel reservation because the room was filthy and covered with black mold, we were welcomed with relief at the Luxury Old Quarter Hotel. The hotel is brand new, well designed, super clean, and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were much larger than we expected. We enjoyed the buffet and made to order breakfast options- very tasty and fresh! I highly recommend staying at the Old Quarter Luxury Hotel.
Very humble staffs and always smile at you in the morning..what makes the hotel nice is how they treat their guests and i think thats really on the top my list when i rate a hotel everywhere in the world. And i can say this hotel is one of my top list...definitely comeback on same hotel if given a chance..
