Minamitsuru District Hotels

Room is big, clean and cozy. Environment is great and peaceful. Location is good. It is only 10 minutes walk to the lake. We had a great time here.

We arrived late but the owner came to pick us up at the bus stop and took us back to our place. Check in was smooth and the lady gave us a little tour of our cottage as well and explained everything. The place was spotless and had a perfect view of mount fuji. There was plenty of space and we could have easily fit more people in our cabin than just the 4 of us. I enjoyed sleeping on traditional tatami mats, which were super comfy. As well as enjoyed the shower room and deep soaker tub. (they...

My friends and I stayed here for one night during what was supposed to be the peak time for Sakura in Lake Yamanakako. This place did not disappoint despite the Sakura being shy. The view from our room And the rooftop was incredible, the owners and workers were also incredibly kind and attentive. Overall we felt so grateful for our experience.

It was a great experience would definitely recommend it to anybody looking to stay in the area

Incredible experience. Staff members are excellent, anticipating all needs, and ensured a comfortable stay with clear communication. They confidently used translation tools to communicate. Everything is laid out for you to use, in the tent, bathroom, campfire and kitchens (dinner and breakfast to grill). Private space and really cozy. The weather was bad so we couldn’t see Fuji-san for most of our visit but the property was well worth it no matter what. The mountain came out the say hello in the...

The view of Mt Fuji is amazing and there was plenty to do. Bike riding, coffee shops and boating.

One of the most enjoyable stays thus far during my trip to Japan!

The perfect base for experiencing Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond — greeting us warmly and taking the time to walk us through everything: how to get around, the best spots to see Mt. Fuji, and local recommendations. Their hospitality was truly off the charts. The room was spotless and comfortable. The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the train station, which made getting there completely hassle-free. Location-wise, you really can’t...

Everything was great and it was a very clean property. Large rooms and loved the separate beds for each person. Appreciated the use of the laundry. Great location too!

Stayed here for a work trip. Great location and friendly staff. I was late for check-in due to transportation and staff stayed up to wait for me. Location is nice and quiet, about 30min walk from downtown.

Absolutely amazing! Didn't want to leave. The hospitality was incredible! The owners were indescribably awesome! Not enough words or stars to rate the best experience and warmest I've ever had.

5/5 Definitely recommended for anyone especially if you come in bigger group! There was only 3 of us so it was plenty of space. They picked us up at the train station. Service was excellent. They were very nice toward us. I unfortunately only stay at this lovely villa for only one night because I already booked else where. I will definitely stay there again if I have a chance. It was pretty close to the lake as well. On a clear day, you can easily see Fuji-san.

Amazing stay experience with the breathtaking view of Lake Kawaguchi and the magnificent Mt. Fuji from your room literally in and out. The room was tidy and spacious with the ceiling tall window and the comfortable terrace sofa. The staff and the service was very friendly, approachable yet has a first class detailed hospitality. The property was highly designed well on how you spend the time in both in the room and in the woods by the nature. Definitely recommend for any group if any age!!

Room was spacious and comfortable. Nice amenities too. Location a bit off the main road but ride shares/taxis had no problems finding it.

A unique experience! Comfortable, very clean, and the staff were very hospitable. The onsen were very relaxing. Most notable was the food—absolutely stunning presentation and very interesting (we are new to Japanese food). The ryokan is on the quieter side of town but it’s still possible to walk to the attractions, especially on the path beside the lake.

Negatives first - this hotel is abit out the way, so if you plan on going, it might be worth more than a day trip/more than one night stay. The arcad/entertainment rooms are very dated and could use some investment. Maybe opt for a lake view, we chose Fuji but as it was cloudy it wasn’t the best view in the world. That’s it.... Positives - shuttle bus service from the train/bus station is fantastic. Check in was smooth and easy, the room was beautiful (room 807), dinner was clearly lovingly...
