Fujisan Onsen Hotel Kaneyamaen
10/10 Excellent
"This place is pretty cool. It doesn't look like much from outside, but the room was clean and modern. The in room onsen was great. Great views of Mt. Fuji. Service and staff are top notch. There is a beautiful Japanese garden on both sides of the river that go on and on. Overall, would definitely come back!"

"J’ai beaucoup apprécié la magnifique vue sur le mont Fuji depuis notre chambre! Le déjeuner était simple, mais bon. La navette pour se rendre à la station était également très pratique. Par contre, je ne savais pas qu’il était possible de bénéficier de cette navette à l’arrivée à l’hôtel. La marche entre la station d’autobus et l’hôtel était assez difficile, surtout avec nos bagages. Il aurait été appréci é que cette information soit mieux indiquée lors de la réservation."

"I loved how clean and well maintained this property was. The rooms being itself was very spacious and we had a beautiful view of the lake across the street. Staff were very friendly and offer a ride services going to and from Kawaguchiko Station which was very helpful. It was also a short walk to Kawaguchiko Lake, My Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, and various convenience stores and restaurants. We were also served a large Japanese breakfast in the morning. I was traveling with someone with severe food allergies so was presently surprised by how thoughtful and accommodating staff was about alterations to the meal."
Dormy Inn Kofu Natural Hot Spring
10/10 Excellent
"For only staying two days, I was very impressed. The staff are great, rooms are larger than most in Japan, Onsen was amazing (had to use skin tape over tattoos to go in), breakfast was good. The only thing I will say is the area in which this hotel resides is a bit questionable during the night, though I never had any issues. Would absolutely stay there again."
