Mango Sunset is situated on a hill in a lovely coffee plantation. It’s 15 or 20 minutes from town. The sunsets are amazing and breakfast in the morning with French pressed coffee is delicious! Heidi (host) makes her own sourdough! She and husband Dan are naturals at hospitality.

Great location to all that Ali’i Drive has to offer.

This was the most amazing place! The Place left me speechless and breathless. It was beautiful, charming and very comfortable. I wish I had stayed my whole trip at this place!!!! Michael was a very gracious host and the food he prepared was delicious. I give this place 10 stars!!

The place was perfect, the time fell on the major storm and Don made sure my daughter’s stay was safe. Don gave her a late check to accommodate her late flight. He stayed in communication with me throughout my daughter’s stay. She loved the place, close to some great hiking, coffee plantations. Not far from the beaches and airport. Highly recommended.

I like this hotel location and the environment. I will definitely go back again. However there are a few things that irritated me and left a bad taste to my experience. Majority of the hotel staff were very friendly and nice. It’s just only a handful that I met weren’t that polite or sincere. Management should monitor and observe to correct or replace those staff. Service was phenomenal. I am so glad there is a gold option. The scuba diving was beyond excellent and creative design of the spa and pool. I did not appreciate the spy bugs though.

Well, I found the King Kamehameha Courtyard by Marriott to be quite a decent spot for a stay, but it wasn’t without its rough edges. Beach is not good. Very small swimming area. Lots of rocks even there. Need reef walkers. Hapuna beach state park is about 15 miles north of this hotel. That is a great beach.

Such an incredible stay! Just returned and it was everything I wanted in our vacation. We could not have been more pleased with Aston Kona by the Sea. We had Unit 106 which was 2 bed and 2 bath. There was a sofa bed also (a little sloped but livable). The unit was completely perfect for our needs. First, we had a fantastic view of the ocean from our lanai. There were sliding doors in the living room and master bedroom. We had an awesome stay. We did not realize how big this resort was. I would definitely stay at Kingsland again. It offers easy parking. And it is nice and quiet where we stayed. And we had access to any other part of the resort. So it allowed us to be away from the main building, where the beach and luau were located. I came here 12 years ago and visited again recently. It's a fantastic resort, and I will be back again. We like the ocean tower for the views and the adult pool for peace and quiet. Walking through the whole resort is very easy, does not take much time, and is very scenic. Facilities are clean and well cared for. Me and the wife enjoyed staying at this hotel and its proximity to the snorkeling beach. They had all kinds of boogey boards, paddle boards, snorkel and fins, beach towels, chairs and such for you to use at no extra fee. Washer and dryer on site. A vey nice place to BBQ if you like with all the seasonings and sauces provided for you to use. The room had cooking utensils and such to prepare meals. I would stay here again. The lady Gigi that runs the place was a pleasure to meet.

My 5 year old son and I spent a week at the Hilton Grand Vacation resort. For us it was a great decision. With a car, we were two minutes to the Hilton Wailkoloa resort, and had full use of their facilities with free parking. If you plan to park yourself at the Hilton Waikoloa all day,then I can see where that may be a better option for some than the Grand Vacation. The night life of the forest is incredible. The place was relatively easy to find and Sylvia helped me every step of the way. I loved everything about my stay. So grateful for the warmth and hospitality. Can’t wait to come back. The animals, oh my heart. Frank and the chickens and the goats. Uni and I named the other two Eric and Suzie.
