I cannot say enough good things about how well he treated me. Polite, professional, and friendly. He also gave excellent recommendations for dining and even exploring the Snæfellsnes peninsula. I hope that ownership and management recognize his efforts. The rooms are clean and well-appointed. The location is within walking distance to the main dining spots, the ferry terminal, and the local sights. I would definitely recommend this hotel for those looking to stopover in Stykkishólmur. P.S. - the chapel in the hotel can be a place of calm solitude for travelers looking to rest their minds."
