It was clean, nicely feeling accommodation in a retro style. The retro does NOT mean old and worn out, but more like the feeling of staying in a small local museum. The rooms are the biggest I stayed in during my two-week road trip in Iceland. Location is best - first line facing ocean / harbor. The only thing I liked less where showers. They where ok, but I would do there some renovations to match the entire guesthouse level.

Quaint guesthouse right near the harbor. We had a lovely view. There is a coffee shop on site for breakfast, and since located right in the town, walkable to restaurants, ferries and scenic hill. Note, we booked a room with private bath, should be updated on Travelocity that it’s actually just toilet/sink, all shower facilities are in the basement. Also, no front desk so you check yourself in to building and room, but felt safe.
