It's a little far from Venice and doesn't have a shuttle, but for us for one day it was a treat. We took a taxi that cost 30 euros each way, we had so little time it made it worth it. The place is lovely even if the paintings are a bit camp after you have seen the masterpieces in Venice. The grounds and interior are lovely, gracious, and comfortable. The pool is elegant, but I wish it were open longer, it was hard to make time to swim before or after our excursions. The rooms are very nice...
Wonderful staff, very comfortable room and bed with a great working AC! The included breakfast was by far THE BEST breakfasts we had in ALL of Italy! There are zero views to be had at this location however the convenience of being so close to water taxis, shuttle services and transportation to and from the airport was excellent. Recommend this property to everyone hands down!
The hospitality and service from on-site team/staff is really exceptional.
Davide and Sofia made my daughter and I feel very welcomed. They were always quick to respond to requests and were so warm and friendly. The hotel is very inviting and you feel like you are in your own little villa. It’s situated in a very quiet and quaint little town- but there are plenty of walkable conveniences including restaurants, boutique shops and even a big supermarket. It’s also only a 5 minute walk to the train...
The hotel is clean, conveniently located, and very cute. Taking the advice from a previous reviewer, we got a canel view (rm3), and we loved it so much. It can be noisy if you’re sensitive to noise but didn’t bother us (in fact we slept so well). The location is excellent, walkable to all areas we wanted to go (Rialto 5m, St Mark’s 10m, Guggenheim 20 m) - but of course you get lost in Venice, so it’ll take longer. I think it’s better much than staying in busy San Marco. To the hotel, we took the...
This is a charming hotel. It is in a great location near shops and restaurants. On the other hand there is no “traffic” noise because it is located on a a small alley. My inability to speak Italian was not a problem.
Best hotel I have stayed at in quite some time. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The homemade bread was excellent. The room was bigger than expected and the beds were comfortable. We stayed here to get away from the crowds at Venice and could not have picked a more relaxing area. The river runs right next to it. The town has a train station with a direct route to Venice. We drove our car to the station (plenty of free parking) and took the train in to Venice each day. I would highly recommend...
We were very pleased with this hotel. We stayed for 3 nights and are defiantly glad we did. The hotel itself is very nice and clean. The room we had was great and the hotel staff were amazing and never hesitated to help us with anything we needed! It's also in a great location for to get to anything. Definitely recommend!
After a week travel through Italy we were starting to wear down and our stay at Hotel Arcadia was a pleasant surprise of comfort and hospitality. The place was nice, quiet, clean, even though it is still a bit on the main drag for people departing the train. The staff was very friendly and anything we wanted was a phone call away. The breakfast each morning was fantastic and the cappuccinos were amazing. Would definitely recommend this place for couples looking for a smaller, quiet hotel with a...
Amazing experience, perfect location. Very close to all attractions. Staff was amazing especially Allesandro at the reception. He was very helpful with all our questions and needs and gave us recommendations for our visit.
An old pallazo right on a canal full of Venetian charm.
Can’t wait to come back. Thanks
This hotel was excellent! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean. We would definitely use this hotel again if we ever came back to Venice. It is close to Saint Marks Square and lots of shopping is available.
This is a beautiful European boutique hotel. They have their own dock on the canal and kindly arranged for pick-up at the airport and a water taxi directly to their dock - it was effortless for us. The hotel is immaculate and the service was impeccable. To address the concerns of those of us from the states - there is an elevator, the a/c is great and the bathrooms are modern, beautifully tiled and well equipped with lovely towels, very nice toiletries and even slippers. Our room was small but...
EVERYTHING about the hotel was excellent. Great friendly staff, BEAUTIFUL room, wonderful breakfast, cleanliness was impeccable, room darkening shutters kept room very dark for sleeping. One VERY IMPORTANT thing to me was the water pressure in the shower. Most hotels have such wimpy water pressure, it takes forever to shower, but not here. Water pressure is great and tub drains very good so water doesn't puddle around feet. It was our 45th Anniversary and we were welcomed in our room with a...
Close to Mestre station. Great, responsive staff. It was mentally, physically, and emotionally challenging when I lost my luggage and had to spend extra money and wasted my time. It rained during my entire stay, and trains were delayed due to national strike. I was in a hurry and left my phone before I checked out. I panicked. But the staff, especially Olesea's hospitality, kindness, ans quick response was a great comfort for me. I can't thank the staff enough. Thanks for being my great memory...
This is the perfect hotel for exploring Venice. Their shuttle provided round trip transportation to and from the airport, and the train station was located directly behind the hotel, making for an easy trip to the island. The hotel could use an update, but the convenience and service makeup for it. Everyone at the hotel was helpful giving recommendations, including the pizza takeout across the street that was a delicious & inexpensive dinner. We saw many people struggling with luggage on the...
In the pictures it didn't look that high-end. But seeing it, we were very pleasantly surprised. It seems recently refurbished while still retaining that Venice charm. Nice, clean, only the first night was a bit cold as you can't control the A/C.
