Best hotel I have stayed at in quite some time. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The homemade bread was excellent. The room was bigger than expected and the beds were comfortable. We stayed here to get away from the crowds at Venice and could not have picked a more relaxing area. The river runs right next to it. The town has a train station with a direct route to Venice. We drove our car to the station (plenty of free parking) and took the train in to Venice each day. I would highly recommend...

We found this lovely small hotel in Venezia Mestre—about a twenty minute bus ride from Venice. It overlooks a charming town square with lost of evening activity. Venice was so crowded we were actually happy to get back to Mestre in the evening and dine with the locals in really nice restaurants. The staff at the hotel were great—the told us how to get around, even suggested a side trip to Padova, fifteen minutes by train. that was wonderful, an old city with old university and a medieval area.

This hotel was clean and comfortable with a great buffet breakfast. The location is a 3 minute walk from the train station but is on a quiet side street so it is away from all the hub-bub and crazy fray in front of the train station. I was surprised at how quiet the little street was that it is on. There were even a few nice restaurants on the side street. We walked everywhere in Venice for 5 days and this is a great location for that, as you don't have to rely on the vaporettos if you don't...

This place was amazing. Perfect location. They provided us a free boat ride to see the Murano glass being made and then to Burano. The rooms were very clean, comfy bed and nice a cool AC. Service was great. A big plus was on site parking. It wasn't cheap but worth it. So many people walking around pulling luggage. The boat taxis are super expensive but the ferry is right by the hotel and cheap. Would definitely recommend this place. A+

This hotel was super close to the train station and very easy to find. If traveling with train, no need to hire a porter. Breakfast was decent and all self serve , including the coffee. Rooms are average with European standards but clean. We had the best pizza at a small shack called Al-Volo. Watch for the birds trying to get your food. Staff seemed to be nicer if you were American. When we switched to our native language, there was a shift in the attitude.

Hotel is very close to the main train station of Quatro D'Altino. The hotel provides a shuttle to and from that train station to main Venezia St Lucia and also provides the train tickets (Return trips) all for a total of 20 Euro's for 2 people. (Please note that the shuttle is not free.) The breakfast is normal but if you want to have some hot breakfast mainly eggs in any form you can ask them and they will prepare them for you.
