What a unique property! We loved the character of the palace. The decor was really cool. The staff was excellent, great food and cocktails. I enjoyed the Vespar in the bar. Much better to stay here than in or closer to Porto Fino.

Hotel staff was amazing and friendly, so kind and nice. This hotel is an old mansion, there are only about 16 rooms, directly overlooking the walkway that is on the water and overlooking the ocean. Our room had a patio looking out at the ocean, with a hot tube, we slept with the doors open and the sound of waves all night long. My friends and I loved staying at Hotel Vesuvio. It's just a five minute walk to the train station to enjoy all of Cinque Terra and the ferry stop to go to Portofino and Santa Margarita was across the street. There are plenty of restaurants, some cool 11th century ruins, and a daily farmers market all within walking distance. We has a "family suite" with a balcony overlooking beautiful harbor.
