We were just in town for the night, but we adored this quaint inn and town. The room was modern, comfortable, and had everything you would need. The traditional breakfast (plus so many other options) was delicious with a great variety. We also ate dinner in the Red Dragon Pub the night before and were impressed by the service, food, and atmosphere. Come for the town and the Red Dragon Inn!

The room was well-appointed with a huge bathroom. The property was quiet. It was convenient having the restaurant right downstairs. The food was delicious!
The bedroom and bathroom were lovely, the breakfasts amazing, the staff always happy to help and the location just off the A590 was perfect for exploring the whole Lake District. My only rejoinder was that the stairs to the rooms are a little challenging for someone like me who is mobility impaired. The staff were attentive to our needs. We ate there on the second night of our stay. They food was lovely and hot when served. We did not wait for too long from ordering to getting our food. There were limitations on what we could have both on the food and drink side due to delivery issues.
