Our first visit to Pine Lake. I'd happily stay there again. We needed good access to Carnforth. The Studio was comfortable and well equipped. The facilities on site sounded good, although we didn't use them.

We had a lodge that was half way around the lake. There was a parking space right outside and the lodge had a clear view of the lake The kitchen & shower room seemed to be new. It was very clean and had a separate 2nd WC aswell as the main shower room. There are childrens play facillities on site aswell as a bar and restaurant. I felt the bar & restaurant could do with a facelift, but it might be in the pipeline as there are some renovations being done according to a sign at reception. Pine Lake is well placed for visiting a lot of places in the area and I would definitely come here again.

Lake use for paddle boarding was restricted to on site water sport company. Overwhelming odour of previous occupants culinary activities, could have done with proper airing and pine fragrance to give that crisp outdoor feeling. Staff were welcoming and did address odour and cleanliness immediately, which is a positive. Overall, stay was quiet and tranquil, would definitely give them a second chance if in the location.

What a fabulous week me and my family have had. The lakeside accommodation was perfect for us. The lodge was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The staff were friendly throughout our stay and I really liked the opt in messaging option where they messaged to keep you informed of anything happening. The facilities on site were really good and we used them daily. Swimming baths, gym, sauna, steam room. The food in the restaurant was really nice and the atmosphere was nice. The watersports were a lot of fun. We did the flying disc and the paddleboarding.
