Room clean, bed comfortable, hence a good night’s sleep. Staff friendly throughout. Breakfast and evening meal were most enjoyable. Well placed for the Yorkshire Dales, a stopover if travelling from further north or simply to take a look at Kirkby Lonsdale a quaint smallish Yorkshire town.

The pub/restaurant side was very good , especially the food and good atmosphere. However the rooms radiator and heating wasn't working which made it cold until we used an electric heater. Also the rooms bathroom didn't have a stand up shower so if you're booking I'd check these first.

Nice and idyllic old pub, rooms above which were quiet enough when I was there on a Friday night. To be honest the pub itself was relatively quiet. Parking at the rear which was free. I left early (6am) and didn’t get to experience the breakfast.

We had a nice stay at The Pheasant. The staff were helpful, and breakfast was good with lots of choice. The pub is in a beautiful setting, about 5m drive from Kirkby Lonsdale. The room was a good size, and had a comfy bed, although was a bit run down, especially the bathroom, which had peeling plaster, damp and cracks. Toiletries were included and good quality.
