Been going to St. Martin for over 30 years. We have stayed at many, many different accommodations but, Commodore Suites is probably the best "value" we have ever found on the island. It has it all; great roof top view, super friendly staff, clean rooms, and LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!!

We stayed for 5 nights and loved the hotel but what made the stay so special was the quality of the service from Marion Idalia and the entire staff They were amazing so helpful and knowledgeable about the island. This property was beautiful. Had a great time. Just be aware that there is a free shuttle into town that is not ran by the resort but by a jewelry store. When they get you into town they take you directly to the store. Try and sell you things. Before you can leave for your shopping in town.

The honesty of staff, I left my safe unlocked and our housekeeper reported it to security. They came in and secured our valuables and assigned a new code. Which was then retrieved directly from security. The overall attentiveness of staff at front desk was also great for a speedy check in.

Third stay in St Maarten/Martin since 1993. By far the nicest hotel of my 3 stays. While not directly on a beach, a short drive to Orient, or across the street to Dawn Beach at the Westin. We were on the upper level, building B and had a great view of the ocean across the street. Actually you can drove about anywhere on the island in 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic. Horrible parking

we have stayed at the royal palm beach resort 4 times in the past years. it is one of our favorite places to stay. the staff and rooms are outstanding. I would recommend this resort to anyone.

Location was great, right on Maho beach and close to shops and restaurants. Other beaches accessible by foot or car. Resort staff friendly and helpful.

Had a short staycation here (I live in Anguilla) and I loved it. Originally booked it because the description said there was a bathtub, which turned out to be false (discussed with the hotel via text beforehand) and considered cancelling but I'm so glad I kept the reservation. Great location close to the airport, bus route, beach, supermarket, several restaurants, and great property overall.

My husband and I just came back from this resort. We spent 6 days and I will share my honest experience during the time there. Upon arrival, we were taken to the Adults Only (AO) which is what I booked since that's my preference. There is a Family Resort (FR) in the front of the AO resort. The property is well maintained. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The only restaurant/bar at the facility is opened for all 3 meals at a specific time but the bar is always open. You can get a good dinner for a rational price. Breakfast was pretty good not included.

The staff and management was fantastic. We enjoyed ourselves with the bar and spa. There is some work still being done to to repair some of the property but I don't know many places that aren't doing that. The concierge was great helping us get excursions booked and getting us a driver! We would come back!
