Senegal Hotels

We loved the Ecolodge de Simal. It's really off the beaten track (quite literally so), but once you get there, the location is wonderful: right on the water. We were there for three nights. The food was plentiful, fresh, and tasty; the free activities (like a excursion en pirogue) was wonderful; the pool is chlorinated and clean; the rooms are rustic with open air bathrooms and toilets, but comfortable; the housekeeping good; the bar/restaurant staff friendly. It's not a "luxury"...

Wonderful staff. I enjoyed every aspect of my stay which was made even better by the wonderful Therese and the amazing David and Kadjali. Looking forward to my next trip. Naila

Lovely hotel. I real Gem. Staff were great and even though some don't speak English, they tried really hard to make my stay Wonderful. They succeeded. Highly recommended!

Very nice place

Really enjoyed my 3 nights here and I found it very relaxing. Staff are great, really helpful and very friendly. The setting is great and people in the surrounding area are great. The lake is fascinating as are the salt harvesters. The only negative point (for me) is that had I been travelling with a partner I would have wanted slightly more privacy in the toilet! (The toilet is the other side of a wall from the bed but this wall doesn't go up to the roof... and there isn't a door! British...

I really did not appreciate the fact that they did not allow my second guest and had to charge me 30000 Cfa . I could find better next time for a hotel I like very well and their room was terrible . I am upset even though I gave you overall excellent . Thanks

Ocean view, hotel beachside location as well as general location of the hotel in the heart of the Dakar was excellent!

We decided to shorten our stay in Cap Skirring to return to this hotel. The staff, the comfort of the rooms, the views, the pool. The rooms themselves! And the breakfast...we really enjoyed our stay. We plan to recommend this hotel as a must visit to our travel clients. Worth the trip!

Great room, excellence service and food both breakfast and dinner were great.

The best employees. Food is good and little overpriced.The promenade is so relaxing and the view from my room was greathe. I give it 5 stars for the hotel and would like to recommend the personnel for the highest prize for its highest quality.
