I significantly decrease my rating for the place, because as usual I learned that with politeness you get nowhere in Royal Baobab. Garden is beautiful, food is ok, beach is nice. That all stays. The workers there are awesome people.
But as well stays that the weakest point of the facility is "management" staff.
I faced unpleasant problem: in my room, there was only hot, boiling water getting out of the taps. No cold one. As we arrived little late, I left it to morning (might be some lack of water, or might solve itself.. TIA), but being there with little baby, it started to be serious problem. I attended twice Reception and once - I guess cleaners manager - during the day, but only achived that arriving maintenace stated "low pressure" without further action. I spent all day trying to sort out crap that is not my issue, so when came really agitated at 18:00, unable to wash my tiny kid and as well not able to reach any conclusion, one of reception staff had audacity to lecture me about my attitude. I guess that considering the price and the fact I was more than polite for the whole day without hygiene, this is beyond any red line.
I did as well heard in one moment, that reception staff is not responsible for that. Sorry. You are.
Majority of staff is awesome in this place, they do their job awesomly. But management just sucks.
If you do not need specific (larger) room, I recommend any comptetition, or just AirB&B, will be not disappointed.
