Hotel Riu Palace Las Americas - Adults Only- All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"There was nothing wrong at all with this stay at Riu Las Americas. The many restaurants made choices wonderfully difficult every day. Every meal was delicious. The nightly entertainment was lots of fun and the pools very clean and perfectly refreshing without being too warm. The lobby and grounds are truly magnificent and comfortable enough to hang out in, as many guests do. The lobby and luxurious bar were perfect places to have a before or after dinner drink. The only drawback at all was the sea weed on the beach, which was unfortunate, but did not detract from our experience at this super hotel. Highly recommended!"
"I won’t be staying here again.
This property caters to college kids and drinkers.
In fact in your hotel room you’ll see 4 bottles of vodka, tequila and other I c beer in fridge,
There are no activists for children other than the kids club which was very sad. The entertainment was not fun for a 9yr old but targeted toddlers. The kid water park was very limited and sorta fun hut again mostly younger kids like 5 and under.
The other water park was 12+ so you really don’t have anything for kids between 8-11 yrs old. We’ve been to other hotels with lots more family and kid activities without all the party goers.
If I were in college I would’ve had a blast here.
The food is OK.
The service was mediocre except for 3-4 wait staff that were excellent. Carolina was one of them.
The pool close to the main desk was a lot of fun for kids and families. The infinity pool drew a lot of drunks people so we didn’t spend much time there.
The beach was great when you are able tog et past all the vendors and away from the obnoxious college kids.
There were lots of mosquitos in our bathroom but they were harmless they seemed to be dying slowly.
If you plan on catching up on your best sleep forget about it! There are several parties at the hotel and although music is great if you want to get a good nights sleep you’re outta luck.
The wind while we were there was so hard that the doors to the balcony would rattle at night making it hard to sleep."
"The stay and my time was the best I’ve had in a long while. Activities amazing!! Food was. try tasty but a bigger variety would be nice. Room, furniture needs to be updated. Tears on the couch and liquor dispenser and shower head showed signs of rust. Overall however, I didn’t want for anything!!!"
"Hotel was amazing. Very clean and well kept. Staff was super friendly, spoke English and helpful with everything. The exec dinner room was great. The snacks and food they put out daily was delicious. The hotel has the BEST continental breakfast I have ever been to!"
