"My daughter and I absolutely loved the Siesta. The hotel is located across the street from Grand Anse beach, Spiceland grocery store, Cummin Up BBQ, Umbrellas, KFC, Spiceland Mall, and an atm so there’s really no need for many amenities at the hotel based on its great location. Also, the Siesta is very kid/ family friendly, and they do not sell alcohol at the hotel. Nighttime is very peaceful and quiet here. I booked the hilltop suite which provided a luxurious view to wake up to every morning. When any questions or concerns arose, Deon and Bayan were very resourceful. Mrs. Deon is very kind and hospitable. She ensured my taxi reservation upon arrival, always greeted us with warmth, genuine care, and explained how I can make coco tea. I bought some from the grocery store and made some for my family as soon as I returned to the states. By the way, this hotel has the best passion fruit juice. I would recommend to remind house keep to change the towels as opposed to having the same ones throughout the stay. My daughter and I visited the beach often requiring multiple showers throughout our stay. I would recommend this hotel by far over most. "
"I loved the location! Perfect for solo travels and not needing much in the hotel. I was constantly busy and was not in the room long mostly to sleep and get ready. I thought the room was ver spacious and the staff were all so friendly! The beach is right across the street. "
"First thing I must say is that Sharon is one of the best hosts we've ever had. MORE than responsive to our questions and needs. Any issues we had with the villa we rented she was on top of.
That said, here's what we encountered (as 3 couples):
Pros:
Location couldn't be faulted as the views from the main and top floors were fantastic.
Private pool plus 2 extra open-use pools.
Short walks to Secret Harbour, Prickly Bay, and a small beach at the bottom of resort.
A number of very good places to eat within walking distance (including the West Indies Brewing Company and a well stocked mini market).
Very good housekeeping services.
Close to the airport and St George.
Easy to find for tour operators.
Very good WiFi.
Cons:
If you're not fond of walking steep hills consider renting a car as there are 2 that need climbing to get to said amenities.
Cramped kitchen area.
No AC or toilet on the main floor (had to go downstairs to the bedrooms).
Spiral staircases ONLY although you can get into the villa via back doors.
Outdoor grill that NEEDS to be replaced."
"Good food (the Plywood has the best fish tacos I've ever had, and im from NY). EXCELLENT BEACH. Pleasant front desk (Kathleen and Alister). The room and the proper in general needs some renovations, but it was SPOTLESS. The one and ONLY downside to our stay was that i left the keys inside the room and when we were given access to the room returning from the beach, there were US$100 from my bag. I am not confrontational person and it was a non-refundable stay and we had no plan B in mind. I reported it to the dront desk immediately and let them handle it as professional as possible. I also didnt what low-life decision reflect poorly on the rest of the staff. Everything..goodies!"
Royalton Grenada, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort
2/10 Terrible
"Food is terrible, Staff’s (front desk, waiters) attitude is poor. Housekeeping was amazing. Room is small but decent. Nighttime entertainment is the only thing saving the resort "
"This is a great boutique hotel. Nothing real fancy but location and views are superb as well as the food. The locals use this restaurant to treat themselves on special occasions. The whole resort was very clean and well run. Staff were a pleasure to deal with. Certainly a good place to relax and use as a base for day trips which are readily arranged by the front desk."
