"The location was great. The beach and pools were easily accessible and towels were available all over the property. The staff however, was extremely combative whenever an issue arose. I wish it was only on one occasion but we ran into several issues in our short two night stay. The staff was not quick to come up with resolutions but instead quick to say no and were quite rude about it. The food at the resort was far from desirable. We ordered room service twice, ate at the snack bar and the buffet. Our room service orders were missing items without notice. The portion sizes at the snack bar were incredibly small. The buffet was really the only semi okay meal and that was because there were at least options. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for your stay in Grenada after this trip. I wish it had been a better experience."
"Interesting experience
When I first got to the hotel, it took my driver a good 10 minutes driving around to find the reception. There are no signs.
Then, I walked up the stairs to the reception and asked for someone to help with my 3 heavy bags, the woman at the desk just looked at me. Meanwhile, my driver thankfully, carried all 3 bags up the stairs in the time she’d managed to call a colleague.
The colleague brought my bags to the room but first was treating me as if I was a friend he knew, not a paying guests. Bantering in front of me saying the woman at the front desk should carry the bags since “she has big arms”.
I kind of stood there wondering what was going on, obviously tired from my journey, watching them flirt or whatever they were doing, before he finally left with my bags.
The lady gave a brief tour of room etc and had a good night as lovely views which I cannot fault.
Next morning breakfast took a while to arrive and 2 hosts. One incredibly sullen and moody and the other (I think called Rina) was really lovely and personable. Even showing her pictures of the wedding I attended and having a chat.
Went back to room and waited for it to be cleaned. Finally messaged around 2pm to ask when rooms will be cleaned. Was told cleaners have left.
I sent an image of their hotel information guide where it states “roomed are cleaned daily”. No response. But got a nice passive aggressive response in reply later. Lovely room and view. Not very friendly staff"
"The bed was very uncomfortable. The plumbing was terrible. The shower had mold in it. For some reason, the toilet was sitting extremely high. The pool area needs to be redone. The customer service was great though. The air conditioner worked very well. Surrounding area is very beautiful. It’s very quiet and peaceful with extremely easy access to a beach. Be sure to bring your own food because there is no food on the premises. There are also no drinks. They do have a large kitchen available though. this place is perfect for extremely short stays."
"This place was great. The only issue that is both for visitors and the workers is the hills to get to the top building. Some parts are very steep and it’s hard for visitors to make it up. For the workers it’s hard whenever someone orders room service and they have to go all the way up or for the people helping with the laundry. They collect every room’s linen and then go all the way down to then come all the way back up. The good thing is that there are some taxi drivers that take visitors all the way up to their building. But that’s not every time.
Other than that everything else was great, especially for the price. They also help provide a taxi service to and from the airport."
