The property itself is very nice, however the experience at the front desk checking in was not that good. The last thing one wants to do is to try to remember 20 plus things someone is saying to you about the amenities etc. after you have traveled for over 10 hours and is tired and beat! I think a print out of those things would be extremely helpful to give to guests instead of someone saying it while one is trying to fill out forms. The gentleman at the front was not welcoming at all. The other staff members were great, especially Loraine, Roxanne and Ingrid.

Clean , spacious room. Comfortable beds with good ac in the bedroom and a nice little patio area to sit outside. They also provided beach towels which was handy. Booked a week here was great place to stay. Staff where very friendly and help full. Room was clean maybe a little dated but im ok with that . And had all the things I needed. With a full kitchen, exactly what i was looking as i am chef, i like to have the option if i want to cook, gathering ingredients from lokal markets. Gem is on a great beach, most days was very quiet, and relaxing. Will definitely return probably for longer stay.

Beautiful beach BBC at Morne Rouge, not much of a view of the beach from our Apt. But sunsets were beautiful. We had water problems which were addressed satisfactorily. The maid service was excellent as well as the other staff, all very courteous and helpful. The internet (Wifi) was sketchy and lost all together on many occasions. Only the bedroom has air conditioning.
