Room was clean, with all we needed, and the hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. The location is within walking distance of all the big sights of Bergen. Would wholeheartedly recommend it!"

"Despite an ongoing strike they were ready upon our arrival. A previous reservation at a competing hotel had cancelled us at the last minute. An excellent location within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The breakfast was bountiful and delicious. We could not board our ship until 2pm so they allowed us to stay two hours past regular checkout. Thanks!"

"The room was spacious, and we had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Norge. We were able to check in a little earlier than the official time, just as I had requested when I booked the room. We also received an extra mattress without any issues. We used the swimming facilities, although there was an additional charge of NOK 250. Overall, the hotel is highly recommended. Just 5minutes walk around the city of Bergen."

"For an expensive hotel close to the city center of Bergen, we were surprised by how outdated our room was. The carpet was worn and the room decor was very 1990s. The breakfast was very good and worth the money. We wouldn’t stay there again. "

"Rooms are adequate & ckean but of course smaller than in UK or US. Extra pillows would kelp. Breakfast excellent and staff Very friendly & helpful staff at front and kitchen - especially when considering they are operating under strike conditions. Breakfast excellent+ .....Bar knows how to make a great Norwegian Gin & Tonic! Only demerit... showers need a caddy for personal soaps etc and a light that could be dimmed or a night light!!"

"It was easy enough to find, take light railway (bybanen) from airport to Bergen Centrum, (last stop with linie 1), then straight up Christie Gate to the hotel. The entrance area looked a bit disappointing as an older building and the roads around the hotel are not as well looked after as the area around the Bryggen area. Nice and spacious common area with a few books and option to make a drink with machine for coffee and kettle to boil water for tea. Room was small but had everything needed, bed...

"Magic Hotel Solheimsviken is located a short walk from the light rail stop and approximately 20-30 mins walk to the city centre depending on your pace. The staff were friendly, breakfast had a good variety of options each morning and my room was comfortable with all the necessary features. I wouldn't hestiate to stay here again on another visit to Bergen. "

"The pictures for this property are very deceiving. Property is not as nice as depicted. Also, there is no parking which is listed on the description, but I failed to notice this, my bad. We arrived on a Sunday and there was no one available to tell us where to park, where a garage was etc. We could not reach anyone on Sunday when we arrived. Also, the stairs are very narrow and winding to get to the 2nd floor apartment. We had heavy luggage so this was a nonstarter. Highly disappointed with the...
