The owner doesn’t speak English but there was someone there to manage that. This was perfect for viewing the Eclipse and I believe for anyone on the Camino. Not close to any other town but that wasn’t needed by us. I thought it was perfect.
This place was great. Clean, well located, great amenities. Stayed in the 3rd floor unit which was basically an apartment. Would definitely recommend this property.
We’re just sorry we arrived late and had to check out early for wine tastings in the morning. A thoughtful modern renovation of an old stone farmhouse set in a tranquil village overlooking vineyards. Our breakfast of fresh juice and fruits, cheese and a selection of salmon and cured meats was prepared by a very charming local woman. When I return to the region, I will definitely include this special small hôtel on my itinerary.
Staff were excellent at check-in and throughout the stay. Breakfast was very good. The restaurant is also very nice, although being in Spain, it did not open for dinner until 9pm. In the bar, drinks and tapas were available in the afternoon. Huge wine selection. Parking was onsite and free. The only negative was that the toilet in our room continued to run water (sometimes, not always). Overall I highly recommend this hotel.
What a gem this hotel is! We were spending a couple days in Rio with friends, and have booked this hotel for our second night.
Check-in was smooth, the staff was highly professional, friendly, and spoke perfect English. The room was truly lovely and well designed. The bedding and pillows were excellent. Everything was sparkling clean.
We had dinner in the wine bar (there is also a Michelin rated restaurant) where we had light dishes and several glasses of excellent wine. The staff there were...
This is a great location and very welcoming staff. Greatly would recommend for anyone visiting La Rioja - active evening food and drink options, parking in the center is difficult, but if you can do stairs well there is an ample parking lot nearby at the foot of the town. Exceptional.
This place is stunning! Old school room key (loved it!) and a beautifully renovated property with indoor (and outdoor) parking. Excellent place to spend a night or two during your trips. Going in my expectations were not high, but this place felt high end and the amenities, both inside and outside the hotel were fantastic. Right in the center of town too, so super convenient. Recommend it.
What a beautiful renovation and serene environment. These are basic rooms and not luxurious. No A/C, but the rooms are clean with modern bathrooms. The property has a lovely central square that the hotel rooms surround, that is peaceful and charming. Gorgeous biblical art and grand arches can be seen throughout the common spaces, and act as a reminder that this building was originally a convent from the mid 1600s. The breakfast was adequate and overall makes your stay feel very welcoming. I...
