"Overall very pleased with my one night stay after long drive from Scotland. Bar food was very good and breakfast was also very good! Breakfast was at 7:00 but on arriving soon after it was obvious that the bus tour passengers had been earlier as lots of buffet was awaiting refills, Down side was room was very cold on arrival and took a while to become bearable!."

"The house and grounds are beautiful. The breakfast was great they cooked some vegan sausages for me. The room was cold but they had an electric heater which I turned on when I got there and the room was warm when I got out of bed. Bed was comfortable. Shower was hot. The room proved difficult to find when I got there I could have been given better directions."

The only issues we had were that the breakfast wasn't great (and quite expensive for what it was), and the bathroom in our room smelt really bad (probably due to lack of windows). But for how cheap it was we were very happy with our stay - good location, comfy bed, helpful staff!"
