"Parking was a bit of an issue, but manageable. Staff was excellent, both at the front desk and throughout the hotel. Don't miss the outdoor garden with the heated seats/bench, a lovely spot. The proximity to so many of the things which make SF special was amazing. Shopping, eats, bars (The Page and Gigis both stand out), Golden Gate Park, the fun SF vibe all made the trip and stay memorable. We'll be back to stay at the Metro! "

"Love love loved this hotel and its unique location! As Japan lovers, we really felt like we were in Japan with all the decor and design elements. Very comfortable rooms and setup, friendly staff and CONVENIENTLY located at the heart of Japan town, walking distance to Fillmore st with access to the bus and easy to get in and around town. Highly recommend!!!!"

"clean and modern rooms in a gut renovated building. i had a corner room on a high floor that was very spacious and had a great view of downtown and even some water in the horizon. very walkable area close to union square. confortable bed, appreciate the keurig coffee maker, water bottles and very stylish and spacious lobby. "
