No prizes for guessing what the best things to do at Disney World are… the answer is theme parks, of course. There are plenty located inside the sprawling resort to last a whole week’s vacation (don’t worry, multiple day-pass are available!). Some of the biggest names at Walt Disney World Florida include Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Epcot, as well as a couple of Disney-themed water parks, which are great for cooling off during a day in the hot Florida sun.

Disney’s Magic Kingdom was the first-ever attraction to open at Orlando’s sprawling Walt Disney World, back in 1971. It remains one of the most popular theme parks in the world. With the iconic Cinderella Castle as its centerpiece, the park promises a long list of Disney-inspired rides, roller coasters, and attractions spread across an enormous 107-acre site. Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is 1 of 2 water parks at the enormous Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. Compared to the Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon has a bit more variety in terms of things to do, with opportunities to get up close to different species of sea life, as well as a few more traditional slides and flumes. Disney’s BoardWalk may just be the most photogenic and lively spot in the whole of Disney World Resort come nightfall. This is basically a pretty promenade set next to a Crescent Lake, with an eclectic range of cafés, restaurants, bars and boutiques creating a colorful reflection across the water. There are some fun arcade games for the kids, and if you’re planning on heading here for a night out, make sure you check out the excellent Jelly Rolls Bar for the live duelling piano performances and tipsy sing-alongs.
