The Big Edge

Categoría: Exótico

Head right across the street from the ARIA to see the Big Edge, an art installation that’s made from more than 200 boats put together in a flowering cluster that makes it look like a massive metal bouquet. This work of art was created by Nancy Rubins, who is well known for crafting impressive art installations from spare parts of airplanes, HVAC systems and other industrial scraps.

One of the more unique aspects of this sculpture is that much of the support is hidden, making it appear as if the collective of boats is defying gravity. Make sure you pause for a photo, because the installation against the city backdrop is fantastic.
