"Clean room"

"we checked in on the 16th and i did a 765 dollar upgrade to a fountain view room on the 18th floor. no one bothered to tell me the fountains were not working. we were ther from thursday until sunday morning and never once saw what we thought had paid for. had we known the fountains were not funtioning would havve not paid the upgrade fee.will certainly question staying there again"

"Enjoyed my stay! We came in for the Zayn concert and the drag race live show! Overall room was clean, staff were friendly, lots of bars and food options! One thing will say did like the shower set up because water would go everywhere it was like a think a european shower set up where the it's a walk in shower but there is not complete glass case it's like one half glass and water would splash around so it was very much you gotta clean around the floor with extra towels."

"The Sahara is one of the strips older hotels. It sits at the northern end of the strip. While not as expansive and opulent as the likes of Venetian and Wynn level properties, it has everything you actually need and was a clear template for the aforementioned mega-hotels. I enjoyed the overall hotel. The common areas were basic by today's standards but not as overblown and intimidating to navigate as modern strip properties. The pool area was much nicer than expected, although the pool itself was too small for a property the size of the Sahara. I stayed in room 11111. The room was reasonably clean and Housekeeping visited the first 3 days of my 4-night stay. This particular room was extremely small, and I would not have selected it if given a choice. Be sure you know the class of room being offered before booking. The Sahara has free self-parking, which is rare on the strip. While the parking garages could be cleaner and benefit from better signage and lighting, I had no real troubles. In summary, the Sahara is a great option if you want something on the strip but a little less "corporate" and commercial than most of the properties south of it. The staff is friendly and it's rates were reasonable. "

"They should have better bedding. The bed was Tammy low to the ground and pillows were very hard and Uncomfortable."
