It was centrally located right across the street from Kamaole I Beach, and while I wouldn't necessarily recommend staying anywhere in Kihei without a car, there were definitely places to eat and hang in walkable distance in both directions, and the hotel also offered a complementary shuttle service within a 3-mile radius. Beautiful property in a perfect location. Super clean and amenities galore. The suites are perfect for a family. Towels for pool and beach are provided, along with sunscreen, beach toys, snorkeling gear for kids, Towels for day trips are provided from valet. 10/10

This is a lovely place to stay with wonderful service. Breakfast is extra, parking is extra and late checkout is extra. All seem excessive in a room over $800 a night. The bed was not very comfortable. View of ocean from the room butalmostno beach. Food was not worth the. Price and would recommend going off property to eat.

I booked this hotel shortly before our trip for New Year time. It’s quite pricey at this time. But it’s one of the best hotels in Poipu area. They do have the amazing pools which my boys love it. Our studio room is as big as we expected but it does has a queen sofa bed and mini kitchen and laundry. The restaurant at the pool has good food with reasonable price. Please shop at the small grocery store in the lobby. The grocery stores miles away are not cheaper than in the hotel. Highly recommend...

The location and ocean were nice. It was very quiet except for the sounds of the ocean and you didn't know if guests were next door or in the hall. The towels, yes the towels, were very absorbant and soaked up the water on your skin. They treated us like royalty. Private, beautiful, wish we could have stayed longer. The way the resort is set up its as though the beach is private, even though all public beaches in Hawaii are public. All of the staff knew my name, even those I hadn't talked to. All of the staff was great. The manager of Hoku's was the best.

We had a great 1-week stay here. We enjoyed the many features: beach, fish ponds, pool, restaurants, and the room/view was great. The hotel is beautiful, the open architecture and focus on water throughout is very unique. This was the best vacation ever. My wife and i actually went to Maui to get married. The room was amazing. Staff was great.... (shout-out to KK) for recommendations on places to go and eat. We will definitely be back next year for our 1 year anniversary!

The hotel was very clean . The staff was friendly and helpful . Breakfast was good with many selections . The laundry was a welcome perk especially as we had wet items to clean from swimming in the ocean . The hot tub jets worked , but the heater did not work . A staff tried to reset it without success . The parking fee was too high for the area .

Clean room Quiet, well maintained. Close to Schofield base which is were my son works, so it was convenient. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Lots of variety. Very tasty. Had to pay for parking, it was secured. Couldn't enter or exit with out key. So safe! The new transit train stops right close.

Unbelievable place to visit for your Honeymoon. The staff was amazing and made our honeymoon very special: amazing view, awesome pools, great food, and excellent amenities.

The room was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom. The hotel staff were professional, courteous, and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was the best hotel breakfast I have had in years, with rotating options, an omelet bar, and fresh cut pineapple. It was an all around 5 star stay.

We had an awesome stay. We did not realize how big this resort was. I would definitely stay at Kingsland again. It offers easy parking. And it is nice and quiet where we stayed. And we had access to any other part of the resort. So it allowed us to be away from the main building, where the beach and luau were located. Originally a Ritz Carlton hotel and you can tell by the quality fixtures and decor. Great dining and the sunset views are spectacular. I would definitely stay there again
