Opava District Hotels

The apartment rooms we rented had so much space and were a fantastic bargain. Also Lucy at reception was great at welcoming us in advance and made sure everything was in order for our arrival

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Katerain. The staff, service, food, and location were exactly what we needed. I will return often. While I very much appreciated that the hotel had AC, my only criticism would be that they don't allow guests to control their own AC. Nevertheless, we will happily return.

Had a great time at this hotel! We were on a trip driving through the entire Czech Republic and booked this hotel an hour before arriving. We got a good discount through hotels.com and saved a bunch of money by not booking through the hotel directly. The spa was really fantastic. The room was beautiful and very well kept. Theresian is a new hotel with great central location. I stayed there during Olomouc half marathon event and the hotel made our stay very pleasant by providing bottle of water, protein bars and discount on special marathon menu in their restaurant. They also prolonged their SPA opening hours until midnight so that runners could go rest in there after the evening race. The rooftop SPA has a nice sauna, whirlpool, chillout area and a bar. Room was great - large, with nice view and wide, comfortable bathroom. Great place to stay for a night when on a way, as well as for longer period of time!

We came to Olomouc with a group of summer abroad students. The Clarion hotel is a much upgraded version of a previous hotel named Sigma. It is new, clean and modern. The hotel is just opposite the train station and about 25 minutes walk or four tram stops from the upper and lower squares (the old center of Olomouc). The staff spoke English and was helpful.
