Nico at check in was helpful. The hotel is very cool, different than any I have stayed in. The room we had with a 3 year old was perfect because it had a bedroom and separate living room. The location is great. Washing machine is essential. The kitchen in the room was a great size. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Everything you need plus extras like golf and spa. Beautiful grounds, postcard feel

A very nice quiet hotel located right of the promenade , villa marina and near many good places to eat and shop within walking distance. Excellent staff provides quiet, friendly service. Room was very comfortable , quiet and everything worked well and was well maintained. It’s a great choice in Douglas. Restaurant had very good food too.

Best hotel on the Promenade. Elegant, dark wood, beautiful artwork. Clean rooms. Nice restaurant and bar. Claire, Tim & Tony run a top notch hotel. Love it. ❤️ Jack is an ace in the bar and restaurant 👌. Only slight 'complaint' I can imagine is, They should offer better pillows or different types, goose or foam would've been better than current pillows. Would highly recommend.

The Empress hotel was perfect for a home location to explore the Isle of Man! Walkable to the buses, close to pubs and an exception English breakfast each morning!

The HQ restaurant was exceptional. They had a special TT menu, and I can tell you it was prepared with Michelin style attention The staff made our stay really great, with a special acknowledgment to Phil and the Chef The hotel was historic, and historically old. But still grateful for the stay while at TT.

We chose this hotel because it was cheap and in a great location. We didn't expect much by way of luxury, and got what we expected. When we arrived to check in there was no staff member to be found, the courtesy phone didn't work, and the pay phone was broken. Eventually someone showed up and gave us keys. The room was small and the bed was made of rocks, but the view of the ocean was amazing and the tiny wedge shaped bathroom was the cutest. The Chinese restaurant downstairs serves delicious...

This place is hidden gem. Loved it so much we stayed another night. Close enough to the electric railway to give you easy access to the island.. There is NOT a lot going on in Laxey, but that exactly what we were looking for. if you just want to relax and get away. The shore hotel is a great spot
