Very nice hotel. Great staff, super kind. Not much around so it was quiet besides staff calling me twice asking me if I ordered food while I was trying to sleep.

The property was exceptionally well maintained, and the staff were polite, welcoming, and highly informative throughout our stay. The cafeteria offered an excellent variety of food choices, all of which were enjoyable. We stayed in the honeymoon suite, and the view from the room was absolutely phenomenal. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this place to friends and family.

A great host and excellent food..

I had the pleasure of spending eight fabulous days at the Le Montfort and what an incredible experience it has been. While there are so many facets to enjoying this place what stood out most is the very kind, loving people that work here. The attentiveness of each and every team member is astounding and the best kindness in doing what they do. I can see the passion camaraderie shared by them to being a close knit family all with a common goal to make this hotel outstanding and treat each other...

SpiceTree was glorious! Beautifull setting located in the tea plantations overlooking the mountains. Well designed and considered design of hotel for the location. Exceptional service and food. I highly recommend this hotel.

The views from the room were incredible

Outdoor pool location should have been better

1) Great location - away from city center 2) Only 6 rooms and the staff gave personalized service and attention 3) Hotel restaurant's food was excellent - again they were able to customize the food - our son is allergic to tree nuts and they took care of that very well 4) If you are looking for constant and high speed connectivity to internet, that could be problem

Our stay at Shalimar Spice Garden was the highlight of our time in South India--we only wish we had booked more than just two nights! The setting is idyllic, the staff is lovely, the food is delicious, and overall it is an island of beauty and serenity. We cannot recommend it highly enough!

Very helpful and friendly staff, great nature friendly property and good food. The bird-watching nature walk by Bibin was a highlight.

Excellent service.

After hopping city to city in India, I was looking for a escape from the noise, pollution, and general chaos. Enter: windermere estate. The room looked over a valley carpeted in tea estates. A naturalist led a trek through the estate each day. Breakfast was sumptuous (who provides a fruit BASKET instead of a fruit cup? These Guys). I basically walked around the estate, breathed in fresh air, read on the lookout point or in the estates library, and got some solace before jumping back into Mumbai....

Poolside is beautiful. Underground cafe was good good food

Our stay at Greenwoods was an absolute pleasure! From the beautiful property grounds, to the spacious rooms, to the great food, and most importantly the amazing staff, we loved every bit of it! Special mentions to the activities coordinator Abin and the outdoor sports coordinator Remo for making it even more special for my son and our family! Would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Thekkady area!
