Great room and location

We arrived after check-in time but the manager was waiting to take us to our room and give us our welcome rum punch drinks. The room was neat and clean and had everything we wanted. The next morning we walked onto the spacious balcony and were greeted with a magnificent vista that included a view of Caribbean waves breaking on a rock formation, lush vegetation and a vista that went on for miles. The villa for our 6 person group was perfect - large and the decor was lovely. Kitchen was modern and well-equipped. Everything was very clean. Private pool is small. Restaurant dinner fare was delicious. Staff were helpful and many spoke English. Room refresh must be requested. Carrefore grocery is a short 6 minute drive (closed Sundays). Would absolutely stay again.

My husband and I celebrated Christmas and his 50th birthday at this wonderful hotel nestled just outside Ste. Anne, a quiet retreat from the noisier resorts. From there, it was easy to make day trips in our rental car (a necessity) around Grand-Terre and Basse-Terre. We arrived after a long day of travel and were greeted warmly right away. They had an english-speaking staff member who was very helpful and showed us to our bungalow. We had a private veranda with a beautiful view (once the sun came up the next day), a nice room with a mini fridge and a safe and an air conditioner. The room was cleaned daily. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the decor is top notch. Would recommend to anyone seeking a taste of the city and wanting a charming comfortable home base.

Very pleasant modern property but a bit isolated unless you have car. Only one restaurant within walking distance

Charming little place. Everything clean. Nice little pool. If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay and you don’t need big hotel vibe with restaurants and night life, staying in one of their cabanas is a fine choice.

We stayed at La Toubana in July 2017. The staff was very welcoming and the restaurant even provided dinner for us on our first night even though we arrived past closing due to a 7 hour flight delay. The amenities are beautiful with comfortable loungers at both the pool and beach. Food is excellent. Our room was a stunning two story condo type room up on the hill. Sweet, simple and lovely. Pretty pool and terrace area, with views of the sea. Very helpful staff. And in a perfect location on the island. We very much enjoyed our stay.
