We arrived after check-in time but the manager was waiting to take us to our room and give us our welcome rum punch drinks. The room was neat and clean and had everything we wanted. The next morning we walked onto the spacious balcony and were greeted with a magnificent vista that included a view of Caribbean waves breaking on a rock formation, lush vegetation and a vista that went on for miles. Morning breakfasts by the infinity pool were superb - fresh fruit, french pastries, yogurt, fresh...

My husband and I celebrated Christmas and his 50th birthday at this wonderful hotel nestled just outside Ste. Anne, a quiet retreat from the noisier resorts. From there, it was easy to make day trips in our rental car (a necessity) around Grand-Terre and Basse-Terre. Hotel is very nice and comfortable. Rooms are large and well decorated. There are some pictures on walls. There is kitchen in the room with microwave, electric range, dishes, kettle, cups... Very good location near beach. Wonderful sea view from big balcon. But staff don't speak English, only French. Reception works only from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. sauf week-end. I came late evening and called to hotel in French language, they left the keys to my room, the hotel parking lot and hotel entrance in...

This place is perfect for worldly travelers with children. We rented a 2 bedroom apartment. It came with a small, well equipped kitchenette on the veranda. Perfect for cooking meals with spectacular sunset views and star gazing. Housekeeping services were provided with towel exchanges in the middle of the week. Pretty fabulous as most apartment rentals don’t provide such services. Staff was courteous and made efforts to communicate with those not fluent in French. A phrase book on hand or the...
