It is a paradise. One of the best place. For the kind of price we see near Barcelona, it is one hour away in a mountain. Everything about this property is amazing, rooms, ambience, swimming pool and the helpful management who kept on messaging me with information and details. I also got prompt response. I asked for breakfast and it was simple but wonderful, more than worth the cost. We felt that this is a steal. We will not forget this place especially when my family fell in love with this...

I go to Altafulla every summer and I used to stay in 2-star hotels. This is something else, a 4-star hotel for the right price!

We really enjoyed this hotel the staff were very friendly and helpful, it was only 200 steps from the beach..the hotel supplied us with towels, beach chairs, and an umbrella at no charge which was much appreciated!

Amazing resort. Great location. Helpful staff. Superb food. Close to restaurants and town, but not too close. Will be coming back!!!!

We were planning on booking the cheapest resort at Portaventura so we figured with hotel roulette, we couldn't do any worse than the cheapest! Everything worked out perfectly! We got an email the day before notifying us that we were staying at Gold River Hotel. The check-in went smoothly and the staff spoke English well. The hotel is themed like a giant City Hall building in the old west. It was really nice! People in Spain stay up late so the lobby and lounge areas were bustling at all hours...
