The room was clean. Staff was superb and friendly. Beakfast was delicious!

Of all of the places we stayed in Sri Lanka, we most enjoyed our time here. The staff, service, facilities, and food were wonderful. This is an oasis and a fantastic place to stay during your visit to Sigiriya. Check out time is 12:00, which is perfect for an early morning climb in Sigiriya with a delicious breakfast and swim in the pool to relax before moving on.

This is a beautiful peaceful forest resort nestled in a rural forest like area not too far from Sigiriya fort, Dambulla cave temple and Minneriya national park, which were the three attractions we saw in the area. The resort has a great spread of both international and local options breakfast and dinner buffet on weekdays and lunch buffet too on Fridays and Saturdays. A la carte menu is limited but sufficient and we'll prepared. The chefs, hotel staff and management are very sweet people and...

Maya was very nice. Property is well maintained. If you want to stay in more nature vibe definitely recommend.

Congenial hosts provide excellent service.

Beautiful and tranquil location on a quiet lake. Stayed in a wonderful cabin surrounded by nature. A charming Eco tourism hotel. Fantastic pool, delicious food. The friendly local staff takes great pride in offering guests an outstanding retreat.

Staff were excellent and made every effort to make our stay comfortable. Food was fresh and delicious. We recommend keeping the spa open till later in the day although we note the concern about wild elephants and safety. Overall a great place and we would love to come back

We came to stay just for the bed. The staff were amazing and generous. Very accommodating. They organised tuktuk for Sigiriya Rock and Cave Temple and were willing to help in every possible way. Good food recommendations. Sadly we didn't get time for the pool which looked so inviting

The property was set just about 2mins from the main highway, making it very quiet. We loved that we couldn't hear any vehicles at all. The property was filled with lots of trees and we could hear and see peacocks many times during the day freely roaming around. The restaurant was very clean and spacious. We liked the breakfast very much. The staff was very courteous as well. The room was very spacious and clean as well, and had everything we needed. Overall, very happy with this property....

It’s hard to do justice to this masterpiece by famed architect Geoffrey Bawa. Part Kipling, Frank Lloyd Wright, and Oscar Niemeyer? What an amazing experience, with stunning views over beautiful landscape from balconies and terraces that blend into the vines and trees. Uniformly friendly and engaging staff, and one of the best breakfast buffets in the country only add to the property’s luster. On day two I awoke early and opened the door to the balcony, then layed back down in bed to enjoy...

Amazing

We spent one night here and wish we had more time to spend here. It is clean, quiet, had great parking and the food was delicious. The staff was great. We had a very comfortable stay and would highly recommend.

Our stay at Uga Ulagalla was by far the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. Far from the busy roads and honking buses this multi acre property was an oasis. Bungalows are situated all over the property, some with private plunge pools. Rooms are large with an entry way, living room, dressing area, oversized bathroom and bedroom. The food was delicious with a variety of entrees between Western and Sri Lankan. The Sri Lankan food was outstanding. Arrival greeting and check-in is friendly,...

Quiet area, helpful staff. Great pool to take a dip. Bring your mosquito spray if you will be outside at night. Breakfast and dinner were filling, and nicely prepared. They have both buffet and a la carte decently priced for a place like this. Convenient to Sigiriya

Super friendly staff, nice property across a lake and very limited rooms . Cozy and home away feeling .

Beautiful setting. I was a bit confused about advertised lake who is actually not on the property and holds little for guests. Pool area was wonderful very quiet with trees and birds. Heinz was most helpful in sugges outings and arranging driver. A few niggles: Breakfasts like all in Sri Lanka could use some tweaking with toast presented first to go cold and items not offered but available such as tomatoes or bacon: readily provided when requested. Spider life is rampant so staff could pay more...

A small immaculately clean property where everything is so easy to use due to superb organization. Extremely helpful staff. A little gem...
