On our 20 night Camino de Santiago journey there has not been a better hotel than Torre do Rio. Every small detail is amazing from the decor to the comfort to the food to the grounds… we are so glad we did a two night stay here and made it one of our rest days! We are already dreaming of coming back. I have thought long and hard about anything that I would suggest be improved and the only item I could mention here is the WiFi - it was slow at times and a bit unreliable. Other than that, this...

The setting was beautiful, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was very pleasant and comfortable with delicious food. If we are in the area again we will return.

Excellent property for nature lovers. On site dining was excellent- bar was great as well. Excellent staff even assisted me with a medical emergency that required translation with local medical personnel.

The stay was really lovely! The host is amazing and so kind. He was really helpful the whole time, from check in to morning coffee and breakfast to getting us things like a bucket of ice. Always with a smile and kind spirit. The room was beautiful and the location can’t be beat. Great stay.

This property is very family friendly! It is also very clean and close to the center of town! They provided a full buffet breakfast which was delicious.
