Clean quiet

Great base to explore Aoraki Mt Cook, Mary, the owner was friendly and gave good information about the area: Twizel, Mt Cook, she has a good taste of decor. Spacious room, mini fridge, guest lounge, self service complimentary breakfast, wide open space (located on the airfield, but no noise at night). this lodge has great view of mountains. I loved everything. I would stay again if I come back to this area.

Great hotel, close to town and very modern.

Room was good, staff very pleasant, close to the harbor, so we were able to walk down to see the little penguins coming in for the night. Only one came, but it was a treat to see it!

Very spacious - two bedrooms, full kitchen, and living room. Comfortable beds, quiet, and clean. Lovely restaurant was a short walk away, but not much else to do in Fairlie.

The room was spacious, with good light coming in. The bathroom was also generously big and very clean. It had an electric hot plate/stove and came with cups, plates, silverware, and microwave. Parking is on the property. The property itself is close to the beach and main attractions of the town. It is a great value place.

We were tired from traveling for several days and wanted a nice place to rest for the night. The Oamaru Motor Lodge was perfect. It was spacious, had a comfortable king-sized bed, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The icing on the cake was the big jetted tub we enjoyed together. The studio was so nice, we could have stayed a week or more. The hotel clerk was a very friendly man. The check-in process was nothing--literally. He got everything he needed from Expedia...

We stayed 2 nights but only had 24 hours of WiFi. The office was closed when I went to ask for the next 24 hours. I had work to do and could not do it. There should be a way to have WiFi for the entire stay.

Great room many little touch to make you comfortable.

We stayed one night travelling between Christchurch and Dunedin. Owner went out of the way to organise a very late check in. Bed was very comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean. Had a great nights sleep. Owners take real pride and were delightful.

Nice comfortable room. Not far from restaurantschool or mall to get groceries. Enjoyed our stay.

Room and kitchen were clean and room accomdated 4 people comfortably. Parking was tight but adequate. Joy contacted us around 6:00 pm to find out our ETA and arranged a late arrival by leaving the key in a lockbox which was very helpful. Would recommend this property.

Loved staying at Matuka - breakfast was wonderful, the ground were beautiful, location was convenient, and the room was so clean and comfortable. The weather was quite rainy while we stayed there and it was so nice to have a comfortable place to relax and still enjoy a nice view. Would absolutely come back and recommend to anyone staying in Twizel!!
