Great place to stay, responsive staff and great amenities in a convenient location.

This was our best stay ever in the states in a budget range. The property was too clean, staff was well behaved and welcoming, even the breakfast was well prepared.

Our stay was excellent!!!! The check in was easy, fast, and friendly. The room was VERY clean and well stocked. The best part was the free breakfast. Eating area was kept clean and the food was constantly being refilled. 100% will stay again and would recommend.

We didn't like the $5.00 parking fee they just added.

The Hotel was beautiful !!! The room was perfect and rooftop lounge view of the Blue Ridge Mountains was amazing. Food at Graze was excellent! Loved having breakfast delivered to the room. Very nicely remodeled. Will be back for sure!

This hotel is one of the cleanest I've stayed in. And it's the first hotel I've stayed in that had a night light in the bathroom. Everything about the room, hotel, and breakfast bar was great!! Would definitely stay here again!

It was a decent place to stay. The only drawback was the cost for the dog was 75.00 and not 50.00 as was stated.

The Hampton Inn. in Dobson is close to Shelton Winery. They provide free shuttle to the winery. As for the property itself, our room was very large, quiet, and they have a really nice hot breakfast where you can eat inside or outside on their patio. We really enjoyed our stay.

We only live about an hour away, but we wanted to stay near The Lincoln Theatre since we were attending the Macabre Monster Movies film festival. The hotel is literally steps from The Lincoln, and while Marion is a small town, there are some great dining options nearby. We had a late lunch at the Wooden Pickle just across the street (our favorite, we've been there numerous times), and dinner at Moon Dog Brick Oven right next door. We also had a nice breakfast on Sunday at the Downtown Pioneer...

The staff were kind and courteous. Room was super clean. Breakfast was good, hot, and the young man working behind the the food station was very cordial and helpful. This has been my favorite Comfort Suites I've stayed at. Well done everyone!!!❤️

Great hotel, super friendly staff, all the rooms and amenities were super clean and well- maintained, and plenty of free parking. We have visited Abingdon multiple times and this is where we always choose to stay. The facility looks new, it’s clean, and the rooms are very nice. Abingdon is easily accessible from the hotel location.

Nice, clean comfy hotel. We had some door slamming neighbors at 4:00am, but that’s not the hotels fault

Everything about The Alleghany Inn was great. Clean, comfortable, great location, very nice staff. It may have some years on it, but they have kept it in great shape. I highly recommend it.

One of our friends left their Smart watch in the room. We didn't know it at the time, but we got a call from Autumn who stated they had found the watch and would hold it at the front desk. Renewed my faith in humans! There still are honest people in the world! We greatly appreciated that!

Easy access. Clean.

We stayed in cabin 1 and were pleased with the size of the king bed and the room. The bath was well stocked with very nice towels also. I really enjoyed the pot of coffee that was left outside my door at 7:30 am before we headed to the restaurant for the delicious breakfast. All of the staff are amazing. They are so accommodating and are continually checking on your needs. We will be visiting again in the future.
