This brand new hotel is a wonder...the facilities and staff are great...the restaurant options were fantastic. Super comfortable beds and the rooms are spacious. Can't wait to visit again.

Excellent location with a great staff and clean rooms that were serviced every day.

On arrival we were greeted by the manager Tony who was great throughout the trip. The check-in was hassle free. The property is nice and upgraded. There is minor renovations going on but without any inconvenience to guests. The resort was very private and feels like you have the entire staff and property all to yourself with minimal visibility of other guests except for the dining area. The room in the wilderness

TOA is a new facility in the as-yet unspoiled Pongwe Beach area. The facility itself is beautiful, and kept immaculately clean. The staff are unfailingly kind, helpful and efficient, and everyone greets you with a smile and warmth. The food is delicious and beautifully prepared, and the grounds and amenities are spotless and carefully maintained. The most memorable part of the stay is the staff; I cannot say enough about how kind and generous they are. I highly recommend a stay at TOA.

I had a wonderful stay at Ycona Resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff attended to our every need and made us feel truly cared for. The manager, Claudia, along with Omar, were especially outstanding—both were incredibly helpful in facilitating all of our plans and were always flexible and accommodating. Clean room, staff , very good

Very nice and quiet resort. Service was a bit slow, but I think that is just a cultural difference.

At first I would like to thank a lot to manager Lukas, who was very helpful and let us have a very late checkout for no extra fee (due to low season). Hotel is small but so cute, super friendly stuff, clean and nice furnished rooms. There is no air conditioner only the fan, but honestly it is absolutely fine and sufficient. the beach is amazing in both cases - during high tide or low tide. What about the restaurant - I don't think I had better meals anywhere else on island. Really amazing...

It’s excellent but expensive price

I was looking for a chill, boutique style hotel to relax, S&S was a great choice. Great and attentive staff, nice & clean rooms. The pool is pretty basic. Would be nice if it were bigger.

This was a nice resort on Zanzibar. The facilities were certainly good for East African standards. This is actually two resorts (soon to be three) combined. The reception is actually on the side called "Paradise Bay Resort," but you have full access to both sides. The pool shown in the picture is in Zanzibar Bay Resort, and is more relaxing (and shallower) than the one on the other side. The Paradise Bay one is blue, and has a 3 meter deep portion. Our family of 4 had a wonderful 3 night stay. The rooms were beautiful, beds comfortable, and the air con worked well. Turn down service to spruce up the rooms and set up the mosquito netting is a nice touch. The pavilion has impressive architectural presence which is brilliant planning for covering the pool (so its always a cool temperature), covering 2 the dining areas and the 2 bars. There were always enough lounge chairs covered in comfortable canvas with pillows and a few different options...
