Oshima District Hotels

This was by far the nicest room/resort we have stayed in. After being cramped in many Japanese hotels and ryokans, this was much much larger with three queen/full size beds, a 65" TV and an outdoor bath (mineral salts available in the lobby). However, please understand that as this location is very remote, dining options in the area and transportation may be limited. This may be why we didn't see any foreigners there? However, they do provide pick-up service to and from the Shin-Iwakuni station...

We are traveling in the Shikoku Rail pass, the walk to the hotel from Goro station was about 20. We used a bus and taxis to get into Iyo Ozu town. The area around the hotel has built up afoind the interchange so s good vsriety if shops and restaurants around the hotel. The rooms were a bit small for two but workable. Lots of amenities such as breakfast included (excellent btw) a happy hour at 8 with non and alcoholic beverages until 8 Pm. The hotel has s large onsen style bath which is...

Staff is friendly, and the rooms are clean, comfortable and affordable. Extremely convenient and highly recommend.

Very quiet hotel near the airport and MCAS Iwakuni. The staff are friendly and helpful. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. Plenty of parking available. They have a laundry on site as well.

Beautiful views. We had a nice room with a great view of the water. Gorgeous sunset views. Clean and well appointed with everything we needed.

I stayed two nights at the Green Rich Hotel in Iwakuni. The reception staff was very welcoming. The bed was comfortable and there were two different types of pillows for my comfort. I appreciate hotels that require you to dock your key to turn on the electricity in the room-- helps me not to lose the key and it's also more energy-efficient and better for the environment. Perfect hotel for our honeymoon. The room had a beautiful view to the sea and nearby islands. The breakfast was very complete consisting of multiple small dishes. Everything was high quality, the rooms, the onsen, the lounge area, etc. Most importantly, the staff and the bartender (Kai) were super helpful and welcoming.

A unique hotel made of shipping containers placed side by side in a parking lot. Very efficient, clean, and well maintained.

A beautiful and modern hotel very close to all the attractions in Matsuyama. Great service, clean and specious! 7th and 8th floor of a large shopping plaza where you will find everything you need!

Great view of the castle. A wee bit of mold in the bathroom, but otherwise great. Bed was rock hard, but not uncommon for Japan.

Love this spot. Super central location and elevator parking garage made the stop and planning so easy. Also, staff was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay!
