I truly enjoyed staying at Dogo Kan, the onsen was great and spacious, both with indoor and outdoor baths. The rooms were so spacious, and you get several small, but appreciated complimentary things such as a sweet snack, cold water and tabi socks. My only complaint would be that the beds (twin) were so small even I a female (1.6 m), almost fell out of it during sleep.

Very new room, they are clearly renovating some parts of the hotel like rooms in the top floors and the restaurant. Hotel staff helped us to arrange in room massage service, ¥6000 for an hour. The therapists were very skillful. Male and female hot spring is not switching which is a bit uncommon in hot spring hotel. Food was ok, sea bream was served in most courses in dinner.

The rooms was very nice with charming details like the scented toilet paper. They also left sweets for us every day and every day they were different. The spa was good too with two temperatures: 39 and 42 degrees Celsius. We had the breakfast only one day, it was a Japanese breakfast (no western option) with fish, tofu, vegetables, soup, miso paste etc The staff was always extremely useful. The location is perfect: less than 10 mn walk to the Dogo Onsen and 2 mn to the shopping area! We would gladly come back

1. 위치 도고온천역에서 조금 걸어올라가긴 하지만 비교적 가깝고 정문 왼쪽 길건너에 바로 스시에몬이 있어서 편리함. 2. 객실 다다미방이 매우 분위기있고 화장실과 욕실이 분리되어 있음. (숙박하는 동안 대욕장을 이용했기 객실 욕실은 사용하지 않았음.) 치솔,치약,면도기,빗 등 일회용 어메니티와 수건은 사람 수만큼 준비되어 있음. 특히 좋았던 건 이불 깔아주는 서비스로 원하는 시간에 직원분들이 와서 좌식 테이블을 치우고 이불을 깔아주심. 유카타와 게타도 준비되어 있어서 대욕장 갈 때 입고 다니기 좋았으며 일본식 이부자리는 푹신하고 기분좋았음. 다다미방에 딸린 테라스에 작은 안마의자가 구비되어 있어서 잘 사용했고 작은 냉장고와 녹차세트 등을 사용할 수 있음. 3. 드링크서비스 1층 로비 안쪽에 오렌지주스와 커피를 자유롭게 마실 수 있는 공간이 있어서 잘 이용함. 4. 대욕장 밤 12시까지 자유롭게 이용할 수 있는 대욕장. 옛스런 분위기로 열쇠로 여는 신발장과 옷장, 타월이 잘 갖추어져 있고 내부가 붐비지 않아서 좋았음. 노천탕도 분위기있고(히노키탕은 운영하지 않았음) 조용하고 여유롭게 편하게 이용할 수 있었음. 대욕장까지 이동하는 긴 복도도 일본 특유의 분위기로 꾸며져있어 인상적이었음. 5. 기타 서비스 다양하게 먹고싶어서 조식,석식은 신청하지 않고 백화점이나 마트에서 도시락 등을 사서 객실에서 먹었는데 남은 쓰레기는 객실에 정리해두면 직원분들이 치워주셨음. 110볼트 전원이었는데 프론트에서 돼지코 빌려주셔서 잘 사용함. 가격은 비싼 편이었지만 대욕장과 서비스 등이 훌륭해서 만족스러웠음.
