This ia a fabulous old old hotel/monastery and museum, that is why I do not give a five in the condition but it was absolutely perfect for a one night stay going to the market. Paula the manager gave us a very interesting tour of the place and Manuel our personal attendant was very attentive, He built us a fire that lasted all night. This is a comfortable place to stay in walking distance of downtown Santa Cruz. They now have a seating area on the roof with a lively view.

I had a terrific stay at the Amankaya Lake House lake house. From the moment I arrived, Fernando (the owner) went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt welcomed and taken care of. He was incredibly accommodating and friendly, always ready to help with anything his guests needed. The view of the lake and mountains was amazing. The staff was very attentive and the food was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Porta Hotel del Lago.

Hotel Atitlan is located near Panajachel on Lake Atitlan. It is a treasure with beautiful gardens, birds, and artwork everywhere you look. The pool and hot tub overlook the lake and volcanoes. It is close to shopping and tourist activities. You can walk to a nature reserve with monkeys, butterflies, and zip lines. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. Don't miss this unique and gorgeous hotel.

I would come back next time I'm in Panajachel. The grounds are beautiful to just sit and look at, read a book or talk with someone. It's very peaceful. The two Jacuzzi whirlpools are fabulous and get really hot which is great for relaxing. The breakfast was great that we had in their restaurant. Fantastic place! We stayed for two weeks while my daughter was volunteering nearby. Comfortable, clean, excellent food and they went above and beyond to take care of anything we needed.

The staff here was super helpful. They help us plan the whole next leg of our trip. They were always willing to do whatever they could to help us. Great service and very friendly.

Hotel very close to the lake and main street with lot of options for dining and shopping, hotel provides free breakfast which was really good

Beautiful location with amazing views!

An amazing place!!! Johann and gabby go out the way to make the whole experience personal and unique. The view is simply spectacular from every room-be it the bar, bedroom, living room or even the restrooms!!!!

Jenna's B&B was an excellent place to stay! The views here of the lake and the volcanoes were so beautiful and the place truly felt like home. Our villa was comfortable and clean. We were provided with fresh linens and fresh water daily. The staff was EXCEPTIONAL! Yvan and Andrea really helped us get our plans organized and helped us get around to the different towns, making plans for us while we were there.
