Incredible hotel - one of the best views ever, very stylish but according to local architecture and style and not very westernised (in a good way). The staff was super helpful, and nice! The grounds are absolutely incredible, you’re surrounded by the most beautiful garden with a variety of local birds as well as tropical exotic rescue birds like macaw and tucan. The views of the lake and the volcanos are amazing and to die for. The restaurant is delicious, breakfast buffet changes every day and has a variety of local cuisines and breakfast foods. The private dock is great to take day trips to different towns.

The gardens and atmosphere are amazing! 10/10! Wonderful place to stay. Lower expectations about the staff with the restaurant and bar if you come from the USA, they move at a different pace, relative to the rest of Guatemala. So plan accordingly when ordering drinks and food, also don’t order directly from the bar, use the waitress/waiter the bartender will deliberately overcharge you for drinks. Again I highly recommend the hotel because it is amazing, just be aware and expect a relaxed service and atmosphere.
