Heaven on Earth! This little place is incredible, so close to Rotorua and all there is to do there. The lake front view, dining, quiet atmosphere make this place GREAT for a couple's getaway. The room was a little small, but very comfortable and the view of the lake from the bed or the tub can't be beat! My only regret is we didn't stay longer.
Waterfront BnB with free kayaking and tennis. 10 minutes drive to city center which is nice as it keeps you out of the sulfur smell but still close to everything. Hosts are very nice.
Multiple delivery services can be used for dinner.
Our check-in felt a bit awkward—we were told many (many) times how the property and views are “quite stunning” as we were shown around.
Everything else was very nice. Room had a great view, and we really liked the breakfast (and breakfast staff). Parking on the hill was tricky!
So glad I booked this place! It felt home away from home for this solo traveler. You had the privacy of your own studio but could go into the home and feel welcomed.

The one bedroom with kitchen and sitting area was exactly as shown/described. Large kitchen / living room with full kitchen that had quality appliances. The washing machine with 2 detergent packets were useful. There was even a dryer to hang your clothes on. Room was efficiently serviced daily. Short walk to stores and cafe. There is a Māori thermal village that is 5 minutes away. We did not use the hot tub, but that was bubbling away. Recommended place to stay as we were very comfortable there.
Great experience considering most were not in New Zealand. The attention to detail really shows. Is it a perfect place? No, but they do what they can with what they have. I was very satisfied with the room, staff and everything about the property.

People in the hotel was very nice. Hotel is located in the town centre. You can go to bus centre, shopping streets, several sightseeing places within 30 min walking distance.
