Great spot!!! What a wonderful hotel in central Rotorua. Having the hot springs pools on site was AMAZING + lovely and unique rooms. They are smaller rooms as this is a historic hotel, but the space and location are worth it!

We enjoyed our stay at Princes Gate. We would like to acknowledge the efficient, respectful and welcoming staff. Our room was clean, spacious, warm and had everything we needed. The 2 dining room staff coped so well on the night when there were large numbers of guests and they were obviously understaffed. They were very busy and maintained an excellent, friendly, professional service. We enjoyed the breakfast and appreciated the range of food available. We thought the prices for the evening meals were excessive. Limited parking available.

Overall a charming property with a very spacious room at a good rate. A/C and heating both worked very well. Great location right within walking distance to main dining and shopping area.
