The view from the room on high floor is great. There is some nicks on the furniture and paint dents in the actual room.

This hotel is fabulous, very clean, very well kept. We had a corner room on the 15th floor with giant windows so the view was awesome. It was a little tight for 4 adults though. Breakfast included potatoes, eggs, some type of a sausage/patty and vegetarian option, waffle makers, bagels/toast, bananas, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, condiments, juices, hot coffee/tea, cereal, very well stocked. Keep in mind that in Seattle WA. Paying for parking is a must. The hotel charges you $64.00 a night for parking. Or parking in the street, if you find any, is from before 8 am, after 8 pm.

Exceptional stay. The check-in set the expectation at tops, and the rest of the stay held form. By 6am, the attached pics share what they bring to your floor. Hot coffee and breakfast snacks delivered before you even got to the elevator.

My stay was different since president was staying at the hotel the same days, so there were inconveniences due to that (being unable to get an Uber at the hotel and having to walk several blocks, standing in line to go through metal detector every time I walked in the lobby). But staff was so helpful, bed super comfy. The place seemed a little run down (carpet coming up at edges, etc) but was very clean. We loved The Sound! It was one of the only hotels on our month long adventure through four contries that we thought, "hmm, we could stay at this hotel a little longer than we planned." Highly recommend it!

Hotel itself is great. Unfortunately, there are many homeless people in the immediate neighborhood.

Appreciated the Underground pkg., although the spaces were a bit small to maneuver. Liked that there were convenient & walkable places eat in the area. The staff was very friendly.

The property was beautiful with a great location. Serious Pie restuarant across the street was amazing for breakfast lunch and dinner.

One of three Hyatt properties next to each other this hotel is smaller but cozy and friendly. Good restaurant, great spa with a pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, and nail salon. Walking distance from the Pike Place Market and a block away from the Paramount Theater and the Seattle Convention Center. Great food options in the blocks surrounding the hotel. I'll be back.

We would highly recommend the Kimpton Monaco to anyone and would absolutely love to stay here if we returned to Seattle! The front desk personnel were very kind and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The location was ideal to walk anywhere in the city, and using the light rail. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We enjoyed the extra surprise of wine hour, and were delighted with the Harbor Cruise and restaurant vouchers. Even without the unexpected extras, we loved this hotel.

The staff at Alexis were exceptional! Brian at the front desk went above and beyond to make us feel like family. The entire team was very accommodating. The rooms are very clean and luxe. Thanks Alexis for making our weekend in Seattle fantastic!
