"This hotel was indeed a special find even though road access was more difficult - narrow gravel road - it was worth it! Lovely accommodation with great breakfast included in room rate. We enjoyed dinner the previous evening which was also excellent with a good selection of wines.

Exactly as shown in the photos. Clean and spacious. I loved the balcony for morning coffee and for evening dinners. We had an amazing view from the 10th floor. I loved the big kitchen. Two grocery stores and the beach very close by. We had the One plus one apartment.

Just stayed one night. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Accommodations were comfortable, clean and well maintained. Lovely to sit on the patio and look out at the fairway.
I arrived after hours and the key retrieval was easy. During the stay the room was cleaned very well and the staff was always friendly and accomdating.
The front desk staff was fantastic. Liani in particular was exceptional. She assisted us on numerous occasions throughout our staff and even assisted with making sure we were able to get the best rate that was appropriate for our stay and our group. Her customer service skills were second to none. I believe she was from South America (possibly Chili). Wherever she's from, the quality of her training and upbringing really showed through. The Quest Albany is a great hotel for a longer stay. I went to go fishing with a colleague and was suggested the Hotel as it was in close proximity to the house he was staying in with family. Although the hotel does not offer room service or a restaurant, it has really good restaurants just adjacent within a 30 seconds walk. The Albany Bakery and Cafe is excellent. Don't miss out on the French Toast there. It is to die for. There are also Thai, Indian and other bakeries and restaurants there. I...
After a month in NZ, this was probably the nicest place we’ve stayed. It felt like we were visiting a friend’s home, instead of staying in a hotel.
Sitting room cozy, kitchen modern, fully equipped and clean. Hosts very friendly.
Close to town which wasn’t too touristy.
