Loved our stay, very safe environment for the kids, we had an accident where my toddler broke the oven door glass and the owner was very understanding about the issue and us paying for the damage was very easy with no hassle. Will definitely stay again when we are back up in the area again

A nice place to stay for 2 nights during a family visit to the area. Check-in was simple and quick and the unit was cleaned daily. Taps in the bathroom need new washers and some light bulbs not working.

The room was well equipped, tidy, and clean. The location was good, and close to the shops. I paid a discounted rate, but definitely don't think I'd pay the full rate. I don't think it's worth it. I stayed in unit 6, and every so often the room would creak so loud that I had to sleep with white noise on to drown out the sound. It wasn't the best experience, and it kept waking me up.

Convient for An Overnight Stay

The wood panels occasionally creak quite loudly and initially we were unsure what it was. We later found a note explaining it has to do with the wood reacting to temperature changes. Great location near beach, grocery shops and dinning. Owners responded quickly when messaged and brought a curtain for the glass back door. Everything was clean though a bit dated. The shower has a large step to get in which could be a problem for the ederly.

Our studio unit was just what we wanted; a short stroll to the restaurants and supermarkets.The unit we had was a 'Lockwood style', so lots of timber. We wanted a base for 3 days to visit relatives. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well; we didn't cook meals but could have as the kitchen seemed well equipped. Everything in the unit was for 2 people, so 2 wine glasses etc. The exterior of the property is a bit unkempt; this could have been due to the wild weather we experienced but I still think a bit of a grounds tidy-up would not go amiss. Access was via a lock-box, so no reception. Our email indicated that the on-site cleaners did not speak English; however we found them very good and helpful.. We were able to communicate through a phone based language translation app, and it worked well. Would we stay there again, yes. It was great value for money.
