I am a fan of Barcelo hotels but not of this one, i felt a little disappointed for the cost of the stay, but being in Madrid explained why is such this way. I uber most of the time and cost varies depending on time of the day but with a big increment for busy hours, the room was comfortable and quiet we had street view. As noted in other reviews this hotel is in a residential area which equates to a quiet and secure stay. Very attentive and helpful staff at all levels. We stayed here at the beginning of our stay and then again tens days later prior to leaving for a total of five nights. Both times were wonderful. The breakfast is expansive and complete. This was a gem. Everything was practically brand new and the price was unbeatable. Very large room with full kitchen. Really silent hotel and private no contact check in. 12 mins in a taxi from the airport and lovely tranquil Madrid neighbourhood. Very easy to get to the airport on the metro if needed also. We stayed at the Aitana while my husband attended a conference at the nearby NH Eurobuilding. Incredibly unique styling and decor of the hotel. Each floor had it's own futuristic design (favorite was the 4th floor!)
