"This is an awesome Hotel, clean, highly professional staff, amazing food, ambience and service. Not forgetting the swimming pool that is so family oriented. The beach with white sand was awesome to behold. We plan to always come back here when in Miami Beach!!!!"
Hotel Trouvail Miami Beach
8/10 Good
"I arrived at Hotel Toruvail incredibly early on a red eye from Los Angeles. After storing my bag, I came back at around 9:30am to my room being ready (amazing, but of course not normal practice). The ladies at the front desk were lovely and welcoming to me, ensuring that I had all I needed and always were available. They were attentive and there to help. Housekeeping is requested by texting a phone number each day before 10am. I asked one day at reception because I couldn’t text using my English number and was told it was done. Turns out they didn’t get it done that day at all which was disappointing though, the housekeeping team leader came to my door, apologised and asked if I needed anything. I got fresh towels. The next day I requested it again and this time it was done. Fantastic once was enough during my stay. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and well designed. The pool is lovely, has a shaded area with tables and plenty of day beds. Despite being located inside the courtyard area, it gets a lot of sun around midday. If you would rather the beach, it’s only a real short walk away and you can use the hotel provided chairs. The bar and restaurant get busy in the evening but never are too rowdy. I didn’t try but it must be good food and drinks. Overall, a really lovely property, well designed, lovely staff. My only downside is it is all done via text message if you need anything, convenient for some, less for others but generally a lovely stay!"

FOUND Hotels, Miami Beach, Series by Marriott
10/10 Excellent
"This was a quaint boutique hotel. had the charm of a 1930s hotel. Room was good sized for our stay and had a pool view out one window and a garden type view out of our other. The attached restaurant had amazing food and amazing service. The hotel was clean and the staff were wonderful. OK now for the negative part, which is small, but still ick. There is really no place to park to check into the hotel, in fact there is no place to park period. The hotel offers parking for a small discount in a garage which is attached to another hotel around the corner. The cost is 45 dollars a night or you can risk loosing your car by parking on the street and feeding the meter at 3am. For a single female this was way to dangerous of an option for me so I took the bite and parked in the garage. I did not like the comment by the employee when I complained about the parking situation, she said " Well it is Miami Beach" as if that justifies fleecing your patrons. That comment was the only negative interaction I have with staff. The other thing was the pool was closed for maintenance, of course it was, they always are, so nothing new there. Truth be told there was no real amenities to this hotel beside the pool that didn't work. But hey we were only staying two nights. If we were to stay more nights we would have took another hotel in Miami proper. One other thing that was a small draw back was our bathroom was super tiny but hey it was only needed for potty times and showers right so who cares."
