"Extremely kind and thoughtful staff, absolutely magical view and the place to stay! Truly our best stay of our Japan experience. The hotel has the old school charm and elegance combined with the new, and it perfectly reflects the wonderful spirit of Tokyo! We enjoyed hanging out with our friends on the 28th floor lounge with the best view in Tokyo, our room had it too! The hair and face products are also great quality, beds are super comfortable, we had nice rest. Everything perfect, we’ll be back, thank you Asakusa View Hotel! "
"We had a great time at Apa hotel, the room was clean and they provided daily towels and toiletries as well as coffee etc. The best part about the hotel is the location. It is 3mins away from the station which was great coming in and out of the airport or other prefectures. Lots of shops in the vicinity. Just a fair warning for those who smoke.. designated smoking places are about 10 to 15 mins walk. "
"Very clean. Staff very accommodating, despite a billing error on my part. Rooms are very small, but efficiently designed. Comfortable beds and bedding. "
"Hotel was about 10 steps off Kappabashi street. About 10-15 walk to train stations depending on where you want to go. Grocery store nearby. 7-11 near hotel was not well stocked, but I seen an Lawson being built nearby. Easy walk to Sensoji temple. We also walked to Tokyo Skytree crossing the river. Hotel room was nice, had a small stove, toaster oven, microwave and a fridge with freezer. All in one washer and dryer in room. 2 twin beds, couch that turns into bunk beds and a dining table to seat 4. Toilet was separate from the show room. "
"Our second stay at Other Space (Superior Double, 2ppl + 2 large cases, fine four us) and we'd happily come back for a third.
Staff are lovely, location is great too with walks to either of the stations in Asakusa being no more than 10 minutes which is super handy for access to Shibuya, Ginza, Akihabara and most importantly a direct route to/from Haneda. Just one street away from Senso-Ji but it's super quiet with a great view of the temple from the roof top along with Tokyo Skytree AND if the weather is right you can catch the top Mount Fuji.
Room was kept clean, bottles of water everyday and we stayed over Halloween this time and returned to our room to find a bag of treats which as a nice surprise. There was a choice of extra pillows this time around which was a welcome addition. The in hotel mini konbini is also super handy for your late night Asahi or Strong Zero. There's also a language exchange twice a week which isn't something we attended but there were plenty of people taking part.
See you in 2026....."
"The hotel is conveniently located between Ueno Station and Uguisudani Stations on the Yamamote line with an easy, flat 10 min walk. We also regularly came home via Inaricho Station on the Ginza line to walk past the local supermarket for fresh fruit etc for breakfast.
The room was large and clean and very comfortable with a well equipped little kitchen. We particularly like having access to a dining table. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was hot and strong!!
The front reception staff were very welcoming helpful with all enquiries. They assisted us with luggage forwarding to our next hotel and kindly showed me how to use the washing machine! Thank you lovely people!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Monday Apartment in Ueno for a great stay in Tokyo.
